Juwan Thompson Injury: Updates on Broncos RB's Knee and Recovery

Denver Broncos running back Juwan Thompson underwent arthroscopic knee surgery to address an injury that held him out of the regular-season finale and the playoffs.

Troy E. Renck of The Denver Post reported the news on Sunday.  

Cecil Lammey of ESPN logged what Broncos general manager John Elway had to say recently about Thompson's future with the team:

Thompson proved to be a talented rookie ball-carrier when healthy, but could be in for a position change.

It remains to be seen how Thompson's recovery from this offseason knee procedure will impact his role in Denver amid a coaching staff change headed by Gary Kubiak.
