Are You Joking, Vick IS an Eagle?

Where were you when you found out Michael Vick signed with the Eagles? I was sitting on the couch watching I don't even remember what. I know I was no longer watching the Eagles preseason game.

My little brother who happens to be a Falcons fan, long story, came downstairs. He told my mom that he should have saved the Vick Jersey he just tossed so he could dye it Green and give it to me. I demanded that he stop lying to me.

The whole reason I cared, what is Michael Vick an amazing athlete, but a marginal quarterback, and I'm being nice, doing on the Eagles?

I think everything that he did was disgusting, but he did his time, and has convinced others that he is sorry and wants to make amends. I have no issue with him having a second chance in the NFL.

I'm just trying to wrap my head around him as an Eagle.

I know everyone's talking about using him for maybe 10 touches a game max. Sounds to me like Philly is the proving grounds, and in more ways then one.

If Vick plays well, when he plays, and wins over the Philly faithful, is there anyway that he can't make it somewhere else? More than likely not.

Do I think the Eagles should have the role as the proving ground no, not really, but someone had to do it.
