Seth Rollins, Big Show and Kane Win 6-Man Tag Match at WWE Fastlane 2015

The Authority won big Sunday night at WWE Fastlane as the trio of Seth Rollins, Big Show and Kane defeated Dolph Ziggler, Ryback and Erick Rowan in a six-man tag team match.

While the match started off with some excitement, it was clear Ziggler, Ryback and Rowan weren't going to be able to hold on, as Robert Littal of BSO highlighted:

All six men have had major issues stemming from what occurred at Survivor Series. John Cena's team, which included Ziggler, Ryback and Rowan, defeated Team Authority, which temporarily forced Triple H and Stephanie McMahon out of power.

Their exile was short-lived, though, as Rollins cunningly got them their jobs back. When The Authority returned, it was awful news from Ziggler, Ryback and Rowan's perspective, as all three Superstars were fired.

That was only temporary as well since Cena was able to bring them back by winning a handicap match with help from a distraction courtesy of Sting.

It is clear that The Authority still holds a grudge against Ziggler, Ryback and Rowan, though, as those in power have continued to make life miserable for the fan favorites.

While Ziggler, Ryback and Rowan have taken their lumps, they have shown great resolve as well. If anything, The Authority's actions seemed to galvanize them even more:

All six competitors involved in Sunday's match have been at odds, but it is fair to say that the main conflict has been between Ziggler and Rollins. They were the final two Superstars remaining at Survivor Series, and they have had several spectacular battles over the past several months.

There is no question that Ziggler and Rollins are two of the best performers on the roster, which is something WWE Hall of Famer Mick Foley has taken notice of:

The rivalry between Ziggler and Rollins heated up to higher levels than ever prior to Fastlane. Mr. Money in the Bank had a well-documented Internet scandal a couple weeks ago, and The Showoff seemed to make light of that on the go-home edition of Raw, according to WWE Universe on Twitter:

They ended up having a singles match on SmackDown, and Ziggler paid for his comments. Rollins defeated him due to an outside distraction. After that, Rollins, Big Show, Kane, Joey Mercury and Jamie Noble used their numbers advantage to decimate Ziggler, Ryback and Rowan.

While The Authority-backed team entered Fastlane looking strong, there were still some question marks regarding cohesiveness.

Just a couple weeks ago, Big Show and Kane had a disagreement during a tag team match against Daniel Bryan and Roman Reigns on SmackDown:

That resulted in Show knocking his partner out. Although they seemingly made amends, another blowup could've been just around the corner.

For all their issues, the team of Rollins, Big Show and Kane managed to coexist well enough to pick up the victory.

Based on the manner in which things went down at Fastlane, though, this appears to be an angle that could continue as WrestleMania approaches.
