Thiago Nearing Return

Thiago isn't expected to be involved in Bayern's trip to Paderborn on Saturday, but could be considered in the coming weeks, per Bild (h/t Stephan Uersfeld of ESPN FC). Guardiola acknowledged the situation, via the club's official Twitter feed:
Images of the Spanish midfielder returning to training were also posted:
Bild (h/t Uersfeld) suggests the creative player is most likely to make his comeback in March. It is certainly important not to rush the 23-year-old, who has twice failed to make a full recovery from the injury first sustained in March 2014.

Fitness is certainly more important than form right now for the player, who showed glimpses of his quality prior to succumbing to problems during his debut year in the Bundesliga. Bayern are currently eight points clear of Wolfsburg atop the division and can afford to slowly reinsert Thiago back into the side.
The probing midfielder is likely to feel at home alongside fellow Spaniard Xabi Alonso, whose presence could allow him a free role in the centre, behind Bayern's attack.
