Cleveland Browns 2009 Season Opener : Reviews

Browns Bloggin'Aug 15, 2009

The Cleveland Browns kicked off their 2009 NFL Season with an opener at Green Bay. Needless to say, it was another complete failure to play professional standard football.

Eric Mangini: His lack of emotion was similar to that of Romeo Crennel. It was actually quite the deja-vu that I expected, and prayed for not to happen. But it did.

Now let's get this straight right off the bat, I had high hopes. So don't go thinking I totally expected utter failure. But that's what I saw.

What is most scary is like I said, there is a total lack of professionally coached, managed, and most important of all, played football. The Lions are 1-0 going into our home opener and we are 0-1. Doesn't that send chills down your spine?

Furrey showed some glimpses. Quinn is better than Anderson. Trade both of them for all I care. I wish Mangini already, would just resign and save us face. Thanks for those leftover Jets, Eric!! You'll fit right in here at Cleveland being a bum.

Phil Dawson should have his contract burnt and they should pay him $20 for each made field goal, otherwise see ya Phil. Ratliff is a complete fucking bum. I'd rather see a 50 year old Bernie Kosar attempt, and he's drunk as hell!

It was a sad day. Cribbs looked like the only player out there. Robiskie looked ok. Francies or whatever his name is looked good. Wow, some positives.

It's going to be a long, long, long season guys. And I refuse to watch it or buy tickets for it if it continues. Sincerely.

Abram Elam blows. Rod Hood sucks. We fucking suck still and again. All at once, and for all.

We will never be champions. Can you blame the Steelers fans? There are more of them in Ohio than ever. Its sad. And its all because we suck. Because we are not smart enough.

This sucks.
