Cleveland Browns: Another 28 Quarters Later
The Cleveland Browns are losing, and no one knows why.
I believe there may be a disease in Cleveland. The name of the disease is unknown. The nature of the disease is highly intelligent. It has the ability to adapt to inclement weather. It can withstand ever changing coaching staffs. So far, no one seems immune to it.
A few fatalities have been reported, still, no evidence as to how to stop it. Every approach to eradicate this pestilence has failed. We are beginning to wonder will we ever find a cure for this abomination that has plagued Cleveland?

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
Another 4 quarters have passed with out a touchdown. This brings the total to 28 quarters and counting.
The last six games of the 2008 regular season the Browns suffered a QB change, a QB injury, reversing that change, and a QB injury, causing another change.
Among all of this change, one thing stayed the same. No offensive player for the Browns was seen crossing the goal line. Unless, of course, there were running out of their own end zone.
As the preseason started tonight at Lambeau Field, Browns fans, myself included, were anxious and sanguine about the new and disciplined Browns we have heard so much about.
After a lackadaisical and loafing run under Romeo Crennel , Camp Mangini sounded like the boot camp style of coaching this young and seemingly talented team needed. This is just what the Doctor ordered.
Without getting into today's health care system , I am inclined to believe that this doctor was one of many, in a long line, just waiting to collect a salary, without being concerned about the welfare of Cleveland , the Browns and its loyal and clinically depressed fan base.
I sat and watched as the Browns came out looking the same. This discipline I have heard about has not showed on field.
On a positive note, the brown pants looked great with the white socks and stripes.
As an afterthought, perhaps Mangini was playing possum. Lets keep our heads up, get a good nights sleep, eat a healthy diet and exercise. These things, coupled with a positive attitude, are the keys to getting health.
