NFL Combine 2015: Most Notable Measurements from Day 2 in Indianapolis
Prized quarterback prospects Jameis Winston and Marcus Mariota headlined the Day 2 arrivals at the 2015 NFL Scouting Combine. They are involved in a battle that could decide which player has his name called first on draft day.
Winston and Mariota checked in extremely close for their official combine measurements. The NFL on ESPN passed along the numbers, which showed the Florida State product weighing in just a little heavier than his Oregon counterpart:

Those measurements don't come as much of a surprise. Winston was slightly bulkier than Mariota during their collegiate careers and that holds true now. If anything, it's good news for the 2013 Heisman Trophy winner.
There were concerns about his weight after pictures surfaced showing him out of shape. Quarterback guru George Whitfield explained to The MMQB's Peter King that he had dropped 12 pounds getting ready for the combine and the numbers seem to confirm that stance.
Wide receiver Dorial Green-Beckham was the other notable prospect who arrived for weigh-ins on Thursday. Chase Goodbread of NFL.com notes he checked in just one pound away from being an identical match to Detroit Lions superstar Calvin Johnson at 6'5'', 237 pounds.
He also passed along comments an AFC scout made to the outlet's Albert Breer, which referenced the wide receiver's off-field problems:
"He's one of the best receivers I've ever seen. He's special. He's gigantic; he has tremendous body control, balance; he runs like a deer and can leap out of the gym and high-point the ball. He's special. It's impressive. If not for all that stuff, he'd be the best receiver to come out since Calvin Johnson.
"
Green-Beckham has a long way to go before he belongs in Johnson's class in terms of anything other than stature, of course. He's a raw talent with limited college experience and must make the right off-field choices to have long-term success in the NFL.
Ultimately, there was nothing during Thursday's measurement portion of the combine that should have a notable impact on the stocks of the aforementioned big names. Things may change once the on-field work begins, though.
