Breaking News: Samoa Joe Reveals in Tweet He's Done with TNA Impact Wrestling
Just about one hour ago, TNA Impact Wrestling star Samoa Joe tweeted that he is finished with the company.
In late 2014, Joe held the TNA X-Division Championship but relinquished it near the end of Impact Wrestling's time on Spike TV, citing an "undisclosed injury."
Samoa Joe was involved in a major storyline on Impact, seeing him partner with MVP and Low Ki, among others, as part of the Beat Down Clan, or BDC. The announcement comes unexpectedly, due to his prominent role on television.
Samoa Joe is a one-time TNA World Heavyweight Champion, one-time TNA Television Champion, a two-time TNA World Tag Team Champion and a five-time TNA X-Division Champion. He is TNA's third Triple Crown and Grand Slam Champion.
As of this writing, TNA Impact Wrestling, Dixie Carter nor any other Impact Wrestling-affiliated website or social media account have commented on Joe's tweet. ImpactWrestling.com, as of this writing, still has Samoa Joe listed on its roster and has not moved him to its Alumni section.
