Manchester United Transfer News: Latest Rumours on Edinson Cavani and Paul Pogba
Louis van Gaal "will be forced" to choose between Paris Saint-Germain forward Edinson Cavani and Juventus starlet Paul Pogba during the summer, according to Ben Jefferson of the Daily Express.
Van Gaal recently admitted he needs to find "creative players" and balance in midfield, reported by the Press Association (h/t ESPN FC).
Jefferson suggests the Red Devils are "preparing" a £60 million swoop for Cavani—who has scored 16 goals in all competitions this campaign, per WhoScored.com—but this will effectively line PSG's pockets prior to the French champions launching a bid for Pogba.

B/R UK's Ryan Bailey and Matteo Bonetti recently considered why Juve would sell the youngster:
PSG's previous failure to adhere to UEFA's Financial Fair Play rules ensures they must count every penny spent. Pogba left United on a free transfer back in 2012 but may feel he has unfinished business at Old Trafford.
Van Gaal's team is currently third in the Premier League but continues to force Wayne Rooney into midfield. The acquisition of Cavani or Pogba, both superstars in their own right, could aid the Englishman's quest to return up front.
