Cleveland Browns: 2009 Season Preview
The preseason has arrived and Tom Brady wants reps right now. Andy Reid chose to throw deep and sign Mike Vick. These are two examples of "I want to win now!", screw development for the future, forget about let's "groom the young guy."........understand that you have to want it first.
Not every NFL team "want's it".
Not every NFL fan "want's it".

Projecting Every NFL Team's Starting Lineup 🔮

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
If you are a fan of the Cleveland Browns though, yeah you want it really, really bad.
I believe Eric Mangini not only "want's it" but he is indeed obsessed with it. If you pay attention to his press conferences, one would think "how and why did he get the boot in New York?"
I'm convinced with Brett Favre's decision to remain retired that Mangini was the apparent scape coat to end the Jets 2008 season.
From Chris Palmer to Butch Davis then Terry Robiskie through Romeo Crennel, this time the Browns have the right guy.
The New York Jet players that arrived in Cleveland on draft day and free agency will covet extreme expectations.
The quarterback mishandling that has clouded this organization sense the ousting of Bernie Kosar will finally come to an end. There will be a leader to drive this team without question or doubt. It hurts that we could have drafted Ben Roethisberger. (We took K2)
The passing of the torch at the running back position will unfold this season. Jerome Harrison and James Davis are on center stage believe it or not. Officially they are being put on notice. The preseason should be exciting for those two, being that Jamal Lewis' foot speed is not what it used to be.
On paper the offensive lineman that are on this roster is the best I've seen since the Cody Risen and Mike Baab days. Which is why I believe Derek Anderson will ultimately win the starting job. Crennel made the mistake by not starting Brady Quinn in the season opener against Dallas last year. Anderson has a concussion history dating back to his Beaver days at Oregon State. That is what cost Romeo his job, which means that Quinn at that point still wasn't ready.
Now we discuss "Mr. 5 Hour" the one and only Braylon Edwards. Seriously, in training camp thus far this guy is a monster. The guy's degree of difficulty catching the ball exceptional. He really held himself back last year, it's quite sad to be honest. "Mr. 5 Hour" dropped four football games by himself last year alone.
New season, new attitude...I've observed a more humble, professional and honest individual this year so far. The Cleveland media light his you know what up every time they get a chance. Edwards' is a star when the ball is caught, if practice makes perfect watch out.
Two NFL ready receivers and a center were drafted this year by Mangini in stating that the future is now.
Defensively this team's primary goal should be to A: Turn the ball over and B: Get off the field. Unaware if the Browns' possess the personnel to run a true 4-6 defense, you have to trust that the son of Buddy Ryan knows something. Under previous regimes this defense has consistently underachieved.
With an upgrade at the linebacker and defensive back positions, defensive line pressure should increase. Shaun Rodgers is better than Albert Haynesworth, in the end the Browns' are going to have to pay up.
With LeBron and Shaq warming up in the bullpen, it is know time for this franchise to take their place as the team in city of Cleveland.
