Rod Woodson Hired as Raiders DB's Coach: Latest Contract Details and Reaction

Rod Woodson made his return to the Oakland Raiders on Monday night.
The team announced that the former 17-year NFL veteran will join Jack Del Rio's staff as the assistant defensive backs coach. It's the second time the Raiders have employed Woodson in a coaching role. He spent the 2011 season with them as a cornerbacks coach.

Woodson played the final two years of his career in Oakland, appearing in 26 games for the Raiders and grabbing 10 interceptions. He helped lead the franchise to its last Super Bowl appearance in 2002.
The 49-year-old is regarded as one of the best safeties in the history of the game and was inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 2009.
