Woodson played the final two years of his career in Oakland, appearing in 26 games for the Raiders and grabbing 10 interceptions. He helped lead the franchise to its last Super Bowl appearance in 2002.

The 49-year-old is regarded as one of the best safeties in the history of the game and was inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 2009.

Del Rio will hope that Woodson can impart some of his football knowledge on a secondary that ranked 16th in pass defense but 27th in interceptions in 2014.
