WWE would confirm the news on Raw.
In 2004, Rikishi left WWE but has since appeared on WWE programming infrequently in the intervening time. A little over a year ago, he reunited with Too Cool to beat 3MB on the Jan. 6, 2014, edition of Raw.
Rikishi is a multiple-time tag team champion. He won the WWE Tag Team Championship in 2004 with Scotty 2 Hotty and the World Tag Team Championship as one-half of the Headshrinkers in 1994 and then again with Rico in 2002.
The Samoan star also captured individual gold, winning the Intercontinental Championship in June 2000 before dropping it about three weeks later.
