Euroleague Standings 2015: Updated Basketball Results, Table for Week 6
The Euroleague kicked off action for the sixth round in the Top 16 on Thursday, and few surprises were to be had among the day's four games.
With eight more rounds still to come after this weekend, it's a little too early for those teams a little further down the standings to start panicking. There's plenty of time for most of the teams fifth through eight to climb back into the top four.
That said, it's always nice to build some momentum heading into the midway point.
Below is a brief recap for some of the sixth-round games and how they all affected the group standings.

Feb. 5 Recap
Thursday featured a battle at the top of Group F between CSKA Moscow and Olympiakos. A win for CSKA would have meant the Russian team took a two-game lead, while Olympiakos had the chance to earn a share of first place.
In the end, Olympiakos beat CSKA, 84-76, at home, despite CSKA shooting an impressive 27-of-53 from the field. According to MisterChip, the Russian side finished two games shy of tying the best-ever start to a Euroleague season:
Milos Teodosic led all scorers with 20 points in a losing effort. Teodosic had an added incentive to perform, having played for Olympiakos from 2007-2011.
Vassilis Spanoulis was the leading scorer for Olympiakos, chipping in 19 points. Bryant Dunston also played a very good game. Although he only scored five points, he grabbed 11 rebounds, nearly twice as many as the next-closest player.
Over in Group E, little changed after Thursday's games. Crvena Zvezda remain anchored to the bottom of the standings with one win, while Real Madrid and Maccabi Tel Aviv are tied atop the group with one loss apiece.
The biggest game from the group was El Clasico between Madrid and Barcelona. Madrid outscored their Catalan counterparts 26-16 in the first quarter and didn't look back from there, cruising to a 97-73 victory.
Rudy Fernandez was the star, scoring 22 points, capturing nine rebounds and dishing out five assists. He played at a near historically high level of efficiency:
Sergio Rodriguez didn't have quite the same kind of across-the-board game, but he led Madrid with 23 points on 8-of-10 shooting from the floor.
Real Madrid did a great job of ensuring that Marcelinho Huertas didn't take over the game. He's averaging 10.6 points and 5.1 assists a game but could only settle for eight and three respectively against his Spanish rivals. Huertas also turned the ball over six times.
If Real Madrid are going to make their move in Group E, next week might be the time. They play 2-4 Zalgiris Kaunas and follow with 1-5 Crvena Zvezda. Meanwhile, Maccabi Tel Aviv have tricky games with Alba Berlin and Panathinaikos ahead.
