Houston Texans star J.J. Watt has become arguably the best defensive player in the NFL, but he wasn't always the popular player that he is now.

According to Rivals.com, Watt was only a 2-star recruit coming out of high school. To inspire other high school players who weren't as highly sought-after as others, Watt provided some inspiration on national signing day with the following tweet:

JJ Watt @JJWatt

Annual reminder that it's not all about how many stars you have or how many cameras show up at your signing. It's what you do next.

If Watt can take the NFL by storm as a 2-star recruit, then these soon-to-be college football players shouldn't be discouraged.
