Alabama Football: Odds Nick Saban Lands Top National Signing Day Targets
TUSCALOOSA, Ala. — The final push for national signing day is well underway and rapidly coming to a close.
For Nick Saban and Alabama, that means making one last pitch to a small handful of recruits to finish off a class that currently ranks No. 1 in the 247Sports composite.
There are still a couple of big fish on the table, though. Can Saban and Alabama get it done? Let’s break down the latest on their remaining targets and the percentage chance that they sign with the Crimson Tide.
K.J. Hill: 4-star wide receiver from North Little Rock, Arkansas
With Alabama looking to add a couple more wide receivers to its class, the Crimson Tide have been hard after Hill, an Arkansas product.

Hill is deciding between Alabama, Ohio State and Arkansas, and per his 247Sports profile, the Buckeyes have been making a big, late push.
Hill took an official visit to Alabama on January 16, but since then he has taken a visit to Fayetteville and Columbus. And Ohio State coach Urban Meyer visited Hill in-home on Thursday.
At least one former Alabama player, though, is trying to make up Hill’s mind. Now-former receiver Amari Cooper, an All-American and Biletnikoff winner, tweeted at Hill Monday night:
It’s tough to get a read on what Hill is feeling, but Alabama is right in the mix:
Odds: 30 percent
Daylon Charlot: 4-star wide receiver from Patterson, Louisiana
Charlot is the other receiver Alabama is pushing for as a late addition to its class.

He was actually a one-time Alabama commit but, per 247Sports, decommitted in February. Since then, he’s taken a long, hard look at hometown LSU, but it appears the Tigers haven’t done quite enough to sway Charlot.
His last official visit was to Alabama on January 16. Those close to him believe he’s already made his decision.
“I think he has decided and just wants to keep it to himself,” Chad Blanchard, Charlot’s high school coach at Patterson High School, told 247Sports’ Sonny Ship. “He has that little smile on his face whenever we talk so I think he has a good idea of where he wants to go.”
TideSports.com’s Andrew Bone says he is “expected to sign with Alabama.”
This one looks good for Alabama.
Odds: 80 percent
CeCe Jefferson: 5-star defensive end from Glen Saint Mary, Florida

Jefferson is the big remaining target, the most high profile of the bunch remaining.
He has a host of schools after him, including SEC rivals Florida, Ole Miss and Auburn. Jefferson said on Monday he would be deciding among the four:
Rivals’ Mike Farrell told The Opening Drive in Birmingham that he thinks it’s between Auburn and Florida:
He hasn’t been on Alabama’s campus since December 12, when he made an unofficial stop in Tuscaloosa. Since then, he’s been to Auburn, Ole Miss and LSU.
It will be a long shot, but crazier things have happened.
Odds: 15 percent
