Katy Perry Got a Super Bowl XLIX Tattoo After Her Halftime Performance

Katy Perry added to her collection of ink Sunday night with a tattoo in memory of Super Bowl XLIX.

After unabashedly murdering the halftime show with the help of a giant robo-lion, Perry apparently pulled the trigger on a design commemorating the occasion.

The singer posted Instagram pictures of the process and the final product. She captioned a picture of her ink session with "I thought it would be appropriate to draw blood tonight."

The tattoo was a simple rendition of the game's Roman numerals.

It's an understated tattoo for an event that unfolded like a Kiss concert on psilocybin. Perry wore fire, tamed the aforementioned robo-lion and finished with a ride aboard the "The More You Know" star.

I'd probably get a tattoo after doing all that too—if only as physical proof that it actually happened.
