Karim Benzema Is Using an 'Electro Stimulation Jacket' to Help Improve His Game

Karim Benzema has been in great form this season, and we may now have the reason why. 

Spanish newspaper AS has detailed how the French striker is benefiting from the use of an "electro stimulation jacket."

And what exactly does the jacket do? 

Personal trainer and expert Guillermo Tabuyo told the newspaper: 

"

An electro stimulation jacket helps you lose body fat and gain muscular tone. It also helps the body to improve in speed reaction as it works on type "2" body fibers. It can stimulate deeper fibers in a way that conventional work-outs don’t.

As well as helping in injury recovery, electro stimulation is also a great preventative measure. Having greater muscular mass means less risk of injury.

It certainly worked on Saturday, as he scored two goals in Real Madrid's 4-1 victory over Real Sociedad.
