Jeremy Lane Suffers Graphic Arm Injury Following Interception in Super Bowl 2015
Seattle Seahawks nickel corner Jeremy Lane has likely seen his time on the field at Super Bowl XLIX after an apparent arm injury.
The injury occurred in the first quarter as Lane intercepted a Brady pass deep in Seattle Seahawks territory and attempted to return it down the sideline. Lane was brought down by New England Patriots wideout Julian Edelman, who spun the corner out of bounds. Lane landed awkwardly on his arm, suffering what appeared to be a severe arm break.
Vine user Arizonas Finest posted a video of the awkward landing. Warning: Video shows a graphic/disturbing injury.

There hasn’t been an immediate diagnosis for Lane’s injury, but Dave Birkett of the Detroit Free Press reports that the cornerback was carted from the field and taken to the locker room.

Suffice it to say, Lane’s ability to play has been severely compromised. We’ll update as more information on his status becomes available.
