Richard Sherman's Girlfriend Not Experiencing Signs of Labor Prior to Super Bowl

Richard Sherman faced an impossible decision in the lead-up to Super Bowl XLIX, as it was possible his pregnant girlfriend, Ashley Moss, could go into labor on Super Bowl Sunday. Naturally, folks questioned whether Sherman would play in the game or be with her for the birth of their son.    

Luckily for Sherman, he won't have to make that decision, per Rachel Nichols of CNN:

And the couple already has a plan in place should Moss go into labor during the game.

"I guess we'll have a Super Bowl baby and if you see Richard heading for the locker room right after it hits zero in the fourth quarter, don't be surprised," Moss told Alex Rozier of KING 5 News.

Sherman is an integral part of Seattle's secondary and defense, so his presence for the team against Tom Brady and the New England Patriots is welcome news for Seattle. While few would have blamed Sherman if he missed the game for the birth of his child, the Seahawks stand a far better chance of beating the Patriots with him on the field.

February could end up being a great month for Sherman, with the chance to win a Super Bowl and the birth of his child.     

More importantly, it appears one of the NFL's brightest stars will be present for both of these monumental events.
