John Boyle, digital media reporter for the Seahawks, noted Chancellor was available to play against the Minnesota Vikings.

Latest on Chancellor's Practice Status

The Seahawks announced Chancellor was a full participant in Thursday and Friday's practice sessions.

Carroll Comments on Chancellor's Injury

Wednesday, Dec. 30

Seahawks coach Pete Carroll told reporters Chancellor is day-to-day.

On Monday, Carroll told reporters it's "unclear" whether Chancellor would be able to play against the Arizona Cardinals, adding the injury is "very difficult."

Chancellor Struggling Despite Lofty Reputation

Whether it was missing time during training camp and the regular season because of a prolonged holdout or just playing so many games the past two years as the Seahawks went deep into the postseason, Chancellor has not looked like the same dominant safety this term.

In Week 5 against the Cincinnati Bengals, for example, Bryson Vesnaver of Pro Football Focus graded Chancellor as the worst safety of the week after he allowed nine catches and missed four tackles.

The Seahawks certainly aren't lacking for defensive talent, especially in the secondary with Richard Sherman at cornerback and Earl Thomas at the other safety spot, but for whatever reason, things just haven't clicked for the team in 2015.
