Paletta signs on the dotted line

Ding! Ding! Ding! Ring up the totaliser, because another transfer has been confirmed. AC Milan have now officially signed Gabriel Paletta, who appears to have shrunk four feet during the process of his medical.

The Italy international (despite being Argentina-born) joins from Parma.


Antonelli confirms arrival

AC Milan have confirmed the arrival of defender Luca Antonelli on a permanent deal, moments after officially acknowledging that Gabriel Paletta is at the club for a medical (which is basically as good as an admission that, barring any real surprises, he will sign on before the day is out.
