UFC 183 is now in the books.

Anderson Silva returned from injury in winning fashion, outpointing Nick Diaz on every scorecard. His performance was solid all around, which means the UFC's middleweight division, already one of its strongest, has another title player in the fold.

The co-main event of the night brought little in the way of action. Tyron Woodley outpointed Kelvin Gastelum for a slow-paced split-decision victory that may not generate the type of momentum he had been hoping. Nevertheless, the win is an important one for Woodley, who handed Gastelum the first defeat of his career, and gets him back on track.
