Squarespace Super Bowl Commercial 2015: Watch Jeff Bridges Star in 'Om' Ad
Many companies will use celebrities to help bolster their Super Bowl commercials. Few, if any, will be able to match the unique style in which Squarespace featured Jeff Bridges, who created a new album to help people sleep.
The organization released an early look at the ad ahead of the big game. It opens with a borderline creepy closeup of the actor's face before zooming out as he begins playing the soothing sounds of his Sleeping Tapes project.

"See You At The Dreaming Tree" and "Seeing With My Eyes Closed" are two of the 15 songs included in the project, with all proceeds from the collection going to the No Kid Hungry campaign.
Along with helping a great cause, it's a smart commercial for Squarespace. The service isn't nearly as well known as many of the companies featured during the Super Bowl. Because of that, standing out from the crowd is vitally important.
Using Bridges, whose legend seemingly grows with each passing year for his role as "The Dude" in The Big Lebowski, helps the ad make an impact. It should generate plenty of interest, even if it's not the highest-rated commercial in the end.
It's probably the first Super Bowl spot that can put viewers to sleep. Squarespace should consider that a smashing success.
