Super Bowl Odds 2015: Over/Under Line, Spread Picks for Patriots vs. Seahawks
It's so close you can almost taste it. Well, maybe the Super Bowl doesn't exactly have a flavor, but if it did it would be delicious.
In order to make the big game even more intriguing, there are all sorts of odds and lines set for Sunday. The most popular bets are still on the actual spread and over/under line for the Seattle Seahawks and New England Patriots.
The difficulty of picking this year's game is even greater than the 2014 Super Bowl. However, that game ended up being a blowout as the Seahawks rolled to a 43-8 victory. That was enough to cover last year's spread by a total of 37.5 points.

Super Bowl Predictions
The line has moved multiple times since the two teams were set for the Super Bowl, but it appears to be firm now. New England is entrenched as the favorite, but that might not be a positive predictor for the Patriots.
In the last five Super Bowls, the underdog has won, according to Vegas Insider. Over the last seven showdowns, the spread has also been covered by the underdog. That includes two games for the Pats, who were a 12-point favorite in 2008 and a 2.5-point favorite in 2012, both losses to the New York Giants.
The Packers were the last team to actually cover the spread in 2011, so taking the underdog seems like a wise choice. Seattle is also 17-3 against the spread in its last 20 games as the underdog, making this a near lock to take the Seahawks.
As for the over/under, these two defensive teams will look to put on a clinic against two potent offenses. The biggest task for the Patriots will be stopping Marshawn Lynch, who has been a historically great tailback in the playoffs.
Michael David Smith of Pro Football Talk and ESPN Stats & Info note Lynch's postseason excellence:
For the Seahawks defense, their task will be limiting Tom Brady and his plethora of offensive weapons. If this sounds familiar, it's because the Seahawks did just that to Peyton Manning, Demaryius Thomas, Julius Thomas and Co. last season.
Brady has thrown for over 300 yards and more than two touchdowns just once in his five appearances in the Super Bowl. Seattle has proven it's the best defense all season and will continue that success to keep the line under the 47.5 mark on Sunday.
Picks: Seahawks cover spread; Under.
