The newest Yankee pitcher, Chad Gaudin will likely start this Sunday in Joba Chamberlain's spot. Joe Girardi alluded to it before Tuesday's game against the Toronto Blue Jays. This is clearly in regard to Joba's inning limit this year, which is unknown to the public but figures to be between 140 and 170. Joba's current total is 121 and two thirds, including tonights 6 inning performance.

Gaudin is 4 and 10 with a 5.23 ERA as a starter this year. With him starting Sunday that would eliminate his name from the replacement list for Sergio Mitre. It looks like the offense will have to carry the load this weekend and the bullpen will be taxed in Seattle.
