Arda Turan Throws His Boot at a Linesman, Somehow Doesn't Get Sent Off

It wasn't a good night for linesmen at the Copa del Rey clash between Barcelona and Atletico Madrid on Wednesday.

In the second half, with Atletico already behind 3-2 (4-2 on aggregate), Atletico's Arda Turan lost his cool and launched his boot in the assistant referee's direction.

Oddly, he escaped with nothing more than a yellow card. 

Naturally, the Internet had a bit of fun with the extremely bizarre sequence. 

And, as if the boot toss wasn't bad enough, Barcelona's Jordi Alba was also smashed in the face by the same lineman's flag.
