WWE NXT: Full Preview, Rumors and More for January 28
Welcome to Bleacher Report's preview for this week's episode of NXT on the WWE Network. Spoilers are already out there, but if you want to know what will happen without learning the match results, you're in the right place.
We're just two weeks away from the next TakeOver live special, so a lot of the focus will be on the established matches and filling out the rest of the card.
The tournament to find a new No. 1 contender to the NXT Championship will continue with two more matches, the tag titles will be on the line, and the women will be in tag team action in a match featuring four of the best talents in the division.

Let's take a look at what NXT has in store for us this week.
The Women
Last week saw Bayley and Charlotte have some issues despite Bayley being out there to help Charlotte fend off a two-on-one attack from Sasha Banks and Becky Lynch.
This week, we will see Bayley and Charlotte attempt to put that behind them when they team up to battle Banks and Lynch in tag team action.
We have seen these four women fight each other in different combinations several times, so this will be familiar territory for NXT fans. Luckily, these are four women who know what they're doing between the ropes.
With the next TakeOver special coming up in a few weeks, we will likely see a top contender for Charlotte's title named either this week or during next week's show.
Banks has had a few matches for the belt, and the same can be said about Bayley, but Lynch has never had her chance to win gold. Seeing all of them in a some sort of Fatal 4-Way match would definitely be the best way to go in this program.
The Tag Teams
After a couple of surprising wins in recent weeks, Buddy Murphy and Wesley Blake will get the opportunity to fight The Lucha Dragons for the NXT Tag Team Championships.
Sin Cara has been seeing some more time on the main roster recently, and with the seemingly inevitable exit of Rey Mysterio from the company, it seems like Kalisto could be valuable in the near future.
If WWE does indeed have plans to bring up Kalisto, either with Sin Cara or as a singles competitor, then it makes a lot of sense to have them drop the belts to a deserving team.
Some people might be surprised that The Vaudevillains were taken out of the hunt for the titles so quickly, but it doesn't mean they will never get another shot.
The Lucha Dragons are a very talented tag team, and they could help shake up the division on the main roster. With the string of exciting performances they have put together, it would be shocking to find out WWE management didn't have some kind of plan for them.
Thursday's title match should be fun to watch since both teams are known for their quick offense and ability to take a good bump. This is a huge opportunity for Blake and Murphy; hopefully, they make the most of it.
The Men
The tournament to find a No. 1 contender to the NXT title continues this week with two more matches, one of which will almost definitely steal the show.
The first contest of the evening will see Tyson Kidd take on former NXT champion Adrian Neville. These two have been in the ring together before, and they have always put on a good show.
The second match from the tournament will see rivals Baron Corbin and Bull Dempsey battle one more time to see who advances in the brackets.
Corbin and Dempsey don't seem like real contenders for a title shot at this point, but Neville and Kidd are both prime candidates.
Kidd had a lengthy program involving the title before returning to the main roster, and we all know Neville's history as NXT champion.
Whoever wins this match will likely make it to the final round of the tournament. It was revealed last week that Sami Zayn and Kevin Owens will have a match at the next TakeOver event, so the final round of the tournament will probably take place on the same night.
Speaking of Zayn and Owens, they will meet one more time before their match in two weeks when they have a contract signing in the middle of the ring.
These events never seem to end without someone taking a beating, so keep an eye out for someone possibly going through a table.
It looks like another solid week for the developmental system. The next special is just two weeks away, and if it's anything like the previous four, it will be better received than the Royal Rumble by the WWE Universe.
