As the transfer window enters its final week, clubs across Europe are working hard to secure what they believe will be the final pieces in their quest for success. Very few major moves have taken place thus far, but there is certainly a growing feeling it will only take one big-name signing to cause a domino effect across the continent.

Despite links to countless players, Juventus have not made a single signing thus far and are almost certain to change that over the next seven days. Sitting comfortably on top of Serie A and progressing in the knockout competitions, there remains a feeling the Bianconeri still need an attacking addition—a matter discussed in detail here.

Pablo Osvaldo Wants Juventus Return

Gianluca Di Marzio believes Pablo Osvaldo could be on his way back to Juventus after rejecting offers from Cagliari, Milan and Torino. Writing on his own website, the Italian journalist believes QPR were also an option, but that his return to the Bianconeri will depend on whether Sebastian Giovinco leaves for Toronto FC.

Juventus Agree Andres Tello Deal

Juventus have reportedly finalised a deal to sign Colombian winger Andres Tello on loan from Envigado. Sky Italia (h/t Football Italia) believe the player's agents were in Milan on Thursday to complete a move for the 18-year-old.

Juventus Agree Contract with Neto

Juventus have agreed terms with Neto, the Fiorentina goalkeeper whose contract expires at the end of the season. Writing on his own website, Gianluca Di Marzio reports the 25-year-old will move to Turin in the summer.

Sampdoria and Juventus Agree Deal for Luca Marrone

Gianluca Di Marzio believes Sampdoria have agreed a deal to bring Juventus midfielder Luca Marrone to the club. Writing on his own website the respected journalist reports that the Bianconeri agreed to the move on Tuesday, but that the Genovese club are also interested in Atalanta’s Daniele Baselli.

However, Sky Italia have reported that Marrone will snub Sampdoria, set to take a medical with Spanish side Cordoba on Thursday (h/t Football Italia).

Juventus Discuss Alesandro Matri Return

Gianluca Di Marzio believes Genoa and Juventus are discussing a possible return to Turin for Alessandro Matri. Writing on his own website, the journalist reports that Enrico Preziosi spoke with the Bianconeri on Wednesday.

Andrea Pirlo Discusses the Future of Paul Pogba

Andrea Pirlo doubts Paul Pogba will ever return to Manchester United, discussing his Juventus team-mate at length with TeleFoot. “For whatever reason they chose not to give him a chance and that is a mistake they will have to live with now," the Italian midfielder told them (h/t Football Italia). "I can't see that he will ever return to Manchester United.”

Going on to discuss Pogba’s improvement over the last two years—and what he expects in the future—Pirlo continued:

Relegation-threatened Sassuolo have ruled out the possibility of Juventus signing Simone Zaza this month. “We won’t give him up until June, he’s a Sassuolo player,” club President Giorgio Squinzi told Quattroruote Day (h/t Football Italia). “We need him because things are slightly complicated for us.”

Romulo Refuses Hellas Return

Romulo has refused the opportunity to return to Hellas Verona according to Gianluca Di Marzio. Writing on his own website, the transfer expert reports the full-back passed on the chance despite an injury riddled start to life in Turin.

Arsenal Monitoring Daniele Rugani

Arsenal are reportedly interested in Daniele Rugani, currently at Empoli but co-owned by Juventus. Alfredo Pedulla notes on his website (h/t Football Italia) that the English club have been monitoring the player since last season and would like to bring him to the Premier League.

However, the journalist also goes on to note that the Bianconeri are believed to have their own deal in place, able to bring him to Turin for around €3 million.

Chievo Interested in Federico Mattiello

Gianluca Di Marzio reports Chievo are interested in bringing Federico Mattiello to the club before the transfer window closes. Writing on his own website the respected journalist notes Juventus are seeking to give the 19-year-old winger the chance to earn some Serie A playing time as soon as possible.

Pablo Osvaldo the Alternative to Simone Zaza?

With Sassuolo’s position on Zaza becoming clearer, it is reported in Italy that Juventus have turned their attention to Pablo Osvaldo. The striker’s time with Inter seems to be at an end, and Tuttosport (h/t Football Italia) have linked the on-loan Southampton star with a return to Turin after he spent six months there last season.

On Monday, La Gazzetta dello Sport (h/t Football Italia) reported that the players agent met with club management to negotiate his exit from the Nerazzurri.

David Trezeguet to Become an Ambassador for Juventus

David Trezeguet confirmed his retirement, and then, he admitted he is heading to Italy to discuss an ambassadorial role with former club Juventus, per L’Equipe (h/t Football Italia): “Before going out to play in India, I had thought about moving on to the next step. The idea is to participate in the promotion of the club’s image across the world.”

The French newspaper believes the 37-year-old will be in Turin on Wednesday for a meeting with the Bianconeri.

Juventus Boss Discusses the Future of Paul Pogba

Speaking shortly after midfielder Paul Pogba scored one goal and created the other in Sunday’s win over Chievo Verona, manager Massimiliano Allegri discussed the value of the French midfielder. Speaking with Sky Sport Italia, the Juventus coach said (h/t Football Italia): "To win games you need great players, otherwise there wouldn’t be players that clubs pay €100m for. As with every profession, there are levels. Paul is a very calm, collected and smart boy. He wants to improve and he proves that in every training session."

The reporter from the TV station then asked Allegri if he believed there was such a thing as an unsellable player, to which he answered:

Everything in life has a price, unfortunately. I don’t think it is a problem we need to consider right now. It is difficult to replace world class players, but it can be done, as football goes on.

Having said that, Pogba is only 21 years old, has a good 10-15 years ahead of him and more importantly has the qualities to do much better than he is now.

Sassuolo Desperate to Keep Simone Zaza Until the Summer

Manager Eusebio Di Francesco hopes Sassuolo can keep striker Simone Zaza until the summer. The coach is unhappy about the rumours linking the 23-year-old with a move to Juventus, as he told Sky Sport Italia (h/t Football Italiashortly after his side lost to Cagliari on Saturday: “I want Simone to stay with us and I do not like these transfer rumours damaging his concentration."

However, writing on his own website, Gianluca Di Marzio believes the two clubs will meet again on Monday to discuss Zaza’s immediate future.
