Erik Erlendsson of The Tampa Tribune confirms Tyler Johnson returned to the ice against the Hurricanes:

Johnson Misses All-Star Game

Saturday, Jan. 24

Tampa Bay Lightning star Tyler Johnson, who was in Columbus, Ohio, for the NHL All-Star festivities, has been ruled out due to an injury.

According to ESPN's Pierre LeBrun, Johnson suffered a lower-body injury but may not miss time with the Lightning depending on the severity:

Johnson was also slated to take part in Saturday's Skills Competition, which is when the injury first came to the forefront.

Losing Johnson for any length of time would be devastating for a Tampa Bay team that currently leads the Atlantic Division with 64 points. He's the Lightning's leader in points (48) and assists (31), and his 17 goals are tied for second most on the team.

Despite leading their division, the Lightning have no breathing room with Detroit only one point back and Montreal three points behind.
