Cordoba vs. Real Madrid: Goals, Highlights from La Liga Match

Cordoba took a shock early lead against Real Madrid after Nabil Ghilas converted from the penalty spot to put the 14th-placed La Liga side ahead of the leaders. 

The hosts were awarded a penalty after Sergio Ramos appeared to make accidental contact with the ball with his hand. 

The surprise lead was fairly short lived, though, as Karim Benzema broke his long goal-scoring slump to make things level.

Things went from bad to worse for Madrid, as Cristiano Ronaldo lost his temper and was shown a straight red card while Madrid were chasing a winner.

In spite of Ronaldo's marching orders, Madrid still managed to pull out an unlikely three points when Gareth Bale converted from the penalty spot late in the match.
