Per the Around the NFL Twitter account, fans can look forward to more days with four games being broadcast instead of the traditional three:
The NFL had already announced the three games that would make up the London Series in November, with the league's vice president of international, Mark Waller, releasing a statement at the time touting the success of this event, via Kevin Patra of NFL.com:
"We believe we have a great 2015 schedule that will continue to attract new fans to our sport and strengthen the bonds with our existing fans. To provide UK fans the opportunity to see games on consecutive weekends, to see new teams, and to attend a division game, which feature some of the most passionate rivalries in our sport, are signs of the growth and depth of our UK fan base.
"
Jacksonville has been a regular participant in this series since 2013, agreeing to give up one home game per season, but the other five teams will allow the NFL to showcase even more of the talent that has made the sport so popular in the U.S.
The biggest game on the London schedule, as things stand right now, appears to be Detroit vs. Kansas City on November 1. The Lions were a playoff team in 2014, while the Chiefs just missed out on making the postseason with a 9-7 record.
However, the beauty of the NFL is that things can change so rapidly. These three games will be significant in their own way and will allow the league to keep growing its fanbase outside of the United States.
