Senior Bowl 2015: Full Rosters and Top Players to Watch at All-Star Showcase
There will be plenty of opportunities for NFL prospects to showcase their talents between now and the draft, but one of the biggest is the Senior Bowl.
Unlike the scouting combine and various pro days, this event gives coaches and scouts a chance to see players compete during an entire week of practice before the game itself. Players are obviously not as concerned about a win or loss as they would be during the season, but the individual battles are a sight to behold.
As a result, teams take this week seriously for evaluation, and fans should get on board to watch the most important football game remaining this season besides the Super Bowl.
Here is a look at the full roster for both teams along with the top players to keep an eye on in Mobile, Alabama.

Ameer Abdullah, RB, Nebraska

One player college football fans should be familiar with is Nebraska running back Ameer Abdullah. Although Melvin Gordon and Tevin Coleman sometimes overshadowed him in the Big Ten, the Cornhuskers running back was one of the best in the nation at his position.
Abdullah will now try to show his skills will translate to the NFL.
Through this point, those watching seem to think his pure talents will make him a valuable commodity at the next level. Tony Pauline of Draft Insider was impressed by Abdullah's speed:
Additionally, Jonathan Jones of the Charlotte Observer saw some noteworthy changing of speeds:
The running back class is loaded with Jeremy Langford and David Cobb as well as underclassmen such as Gordon and Todd Gurley. However, the Nebraska star has a chance to shine this week.
Laken Tomlinson, OG, Duke

There are a number of future NFL offensive linemen participating in this showcase, but Laken Tomlinson might have had the best week of any of them.
Bryan Fischer of NFL.com had some high praise for the young guard:
Meanwhile, even his opponents had great things to say during the week in practice, via Bleacher Report's Dan Hope:
It's often difficult for lesser-known offensive linemen to turn heads during the college football season. Unlike skill players, there are no stats and very few highlights to make scouts notice them. However, these practices give guys like Tomlinson a chance to shine, and the Duke star took advantage.
Bryce Petty, QB, Baylor

Jameis Winston and Marcus Mariota will likely be the top two quarterbacks in this class in some order. After that, the field is wide open for someone to step up and become No. 3 on the list.
Coming into the week, it seemed like Bryce Petty would be the best option after a couple of successful seasons running the elite offense at Baylor. Unfortunately, he has failed to blow anyone away during the week, according to Bleacher Report's Matt Bowen:
"This was an opportunity for Petty to claim that spot as the No. 3 or No. 4 quarterback to come off the board. Plus, with UCLA’s Brett Hundley declining the Senior Bowl invite, the stage was set for Petty to stand out. I haven’t seen enough from Petty to separate him from the group of quarterbacks down here in Mobile.
"
Bucky Brooks of NFL.com also reminds people that Petty has a lot to improve upon before he's considered a legitimate quarterback prospect, saying, "From his raw, unrefined footwork under center to his inconsistent ball placement on intermediate and deep throws, Petty is a work in progress and he will need time to develop at the next level."
The former Baylor star better hope the game atmosphere at the Senior Bowl will give him a better chance to show what he can do on the field.
Nick Marshall, CB, Auburn

No, that position listing is not a mistake. The former Auburn quarterback is attempting to make the move to cornerback at the next level and is hoping his athleticism will be enough to make him a legitimate prospect.
While most quarterbacks refuse to move away from center, Marshall explained of cornerback, "That's the position I believe I have the best chance at," via Chase Goodbread of NFL.com.
It will take a long time for him to rise to the level of other players at the position, but ESPN's Todd McShay was impressed:
Marshall is one of the faster players at any position in this class and is extremely dynamic with the ball in his hands. If he can show even a hint of promise that he can improve his technique, he will be worth a draft pick this spring.
