Former WWE Diva Victoria Lashes out at TNA Boss Dixie Carter
Former WWE Diva Victoria—also known as Lisa Marie Varon and Tara during her time with TNA Wrestling—had some rather unpleasant words for TNA President Dixie Carter when she recently appeared on Jim Ross' podcast, The Ross Report.
The usually diplomatic and affable Diva appeared to let off a great deal of steam when she spoke to Ross on Wednesday night, detailing her deeply problematic experiences working at America's No. 2 promotion.
As Diva Dirt notes, Varon, who worked for TNA on and off from 2009 to 2013, made some scathing remarks as she detailed an incident in which she went out of her way to plug the promotion at her restaurant in Chicago, only for Carter and management to offend her by informing talent that they should promote a rival pizza place in the area.

"Tara tells a story about the time she spent $6,000 of her own money to promote a TNA show in Chicago at her restaurant, The Squared Circle. When asked if she knew about it, TNA President Dixie Carter only said, 'Yeah, I heard.'
Tara also held a party for some of the talent at her restaurant while they were in town. While they were there, two people from the TNA offices sent an email to the roster asking them to promote another pizza place in Chicago on Twitter as being 'the best pizza they’ve ever had.'
Tara says that when she found out about it, she went off and told Bruce Pritchard, 'The day I leave my job, I’m punching that c--t in the face,' in reference to Dixie. He replied that she’d be doing them all a favor.

Varon also praised WWE for its sharp organizational skills in contrast with TNA's. In fact, she told Ross a rather worrying story about how she only discovered she was scheduled to appear and wrestle on a TNA pay-per-view after reading about it on Twitter.
To add insult to injury, Varon described her transition from WWE to TNA as "a big step down." So, it seems safe to say, she won't be appearing on Impact Wrestling any time soon.

Carter's once-pristine reputation has taken a knock over the past few years. Former TNA wrestler Jesse Sorensen's November 2014 interview with the BS Wrestling Report (via WrestlingInc) didn't help her reputation. In the interview, Sorensen claimed Carter had promised to pay his medical bills after he suffered a neck injury in the ring while working for her, then backed out.
Other stories, like the infamous one about Jesse Neal being on food stamps while an active member of the roster or then-Knockouts champion Taylor Wilde being recognized by a fan when working part-time at Sunglass Hut, have not exactly endeared her to fans either.

Sure, Vince McMahon may be, by all accounts, boorish, controlling and difficult. But, as these embarrassing stories about TNA leak out, he still sounds like an eminently preferable boss to Carter.
