Just when you thought the star of Cristiano Ronaldo couldn't burn any brighter, he goes and sponsors his local football club.

As in, they'll wear his nickname on their shirt.

His hometown club based on the island of Madeira, Clube de Futebol Uniao, needed a sponsor, and Ronaldo stepped up.

The lower-division Portuguese side will now don "CR7 Museu" on their striped shirts to promote his new museum.

We're thinking that Clube de Futebol Uniao are about to get an influx of new shirt sales thanks to Ronaldo's already silly level of popularity alone.
