Seahawks' Jon Ryan Celebrates TD Pass vs. Packers with 'Discount Double Check'
It's not often that punters get to throw touchdown passes during an NFL game, so when they do, they better have a celebration ready.
Seattle Seahawks punter Jon Ryan was certainly ready against his former team this past Sunday.
Ryan got the Seahawks on the board in the 2015 NFC Championship Game by throwing a 19-yard touchdown pass to Garry Gilliam on a fake field goal in the third quarter.

The broadcast picked up Gilliam doing Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers' signature "discount double check" celebration in the end zone:
However, the live broadcast did not show Ryan's celebration.
The Seahawks punter also broke out "the belt" celebration—and directed it at Green Bay coach Mike McCarthy. It just so happens that McCarthy cut Ryan from the Packers roster before the 2008 season.
Ryan talked to Tom Pelissero of USA Today about the celebration. As it turns out, he had been waiting to get back at McCarthy since the day he was cut.
"I did the belt right at (Packers coach) Mike McCarthy.
Nothing serious. It was all in fun obviously. I have nothing but respect for Mike McCarthy. When I was in Green Bay, he was great to me. Just like Aaron Rodgers when he does it, it's all in fun. No one takes things serious.
"
More than six years later, Ryan finally got to send a message to McCarthy.
