Jose Mourinho Hopes Chelsea Fans Can Recreate 25 Per Cent of Anfield's 'Emotion'

Liverpool and Chelsea played a thrilling 1-1 draw in the first leg of the League Cup semi-final at Anfield on Tuesday evening.

The Reds had many impressive performers on the night, and not just on the pitch. 

Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho certainly seemed impressed with the noise created by the Liverpool fans, and he hopes Chelsea's supporters follows suit in the return fixture. 

He told Chelsea TV, as per the Liverpool Echo:

Two legs is difficult, Anfield is difficult and with this result we transform a two-leg semi-final into a one-leg semi-final at Stamford Bridge.

If Stamford Bridge can give us 25% of the emotion Anfield gives Liverpool, I think we can do it. Liverpool, instead of 40,000 fans, they will have five or 10 (thousand).

Chelsea, instead of 1,000, will have 40,000. I hope that can make a difference in the atmosphere.

"

It all could be mind games from Mourinho to ensure his fans make a racket, but it does seem like he has respect for the Anfield faithful.
