UNDER 8.5 Chicago White Sox:
Nice pitching matchup tonight at Safeco as the White Sox take on the Mariners. Gavin Floyd takes the mound for Chicago with Luke French going for the M’s.

Floyd (9-6, 3.91) has been terrific for the Sox all year, but especially of late. In his last 5 starts, he’s 3-0 with a 2.68 ERA. His last three have even better, as he’s only allowed 3 runs in 23 innings pitched.

Rookie French (2-2, 3.93) was acquired from Detroit a few weeks ago for Jarrod Washburn. He’s been pretty good considering he’s a rookie. The Mariners are hoping he can somewhat fill the void left by Erik Bedard, as Bedard appears to be out for the season after re injuring his elbow. Look for a low scoing game tonight in the first of three between these two teams.
