Schedule
9/5 Western Michigan
Predicted: (W) 38-21
1-0
This game is the season and home opener. Michigan has only lost one game against a MAC opponent (2008, Toledo) and I don't see them losing another one in the near future.
9/12 Notre Dame
Predicted: (L) 14-27
1-1
Notre Dame has a much improved team this year, and for the first time in a long time, they will start the season in the top 25. Michigan will not be able to keep up with the Fighting Irish in this one.
9/19 Eastern Michigan
Predicted: (W) 45-17
2-1
Michigan has never lost a game to Eastern, and it will definitely not happen this year.
9/26 Indiana
Predicted: (W) 17-10
3-1
This is the Big 10 opener and homecoming game. Michigan will be motivated enough to overpower Indiana.
10/3 @ Michigan St.
Predicted: (L)17-35
3-2
The Spartans are still too good for this inexperienced Michigan team.
10/10 @ Iowa
Predicted: (W) 38-35
4-2
This will be a nationally televised prime time game. If the Wolverines pull off a win here, they could be ranked.
10/17 Delaware St.
Predicted: (W) 49-14
5-2
Delaware State is not Appalachian State.
10/24 Penn St.
Predicted: (L) 7-27
5-3
This is a game that Michigan could win if the Nittany Lions have some key injuries, but if they all are healthy, there's no way Michigan wins this game.
10/31 @Illinois
Predicted: (L) 24-27
5-4
Juice Williams.
11/7 Purdue
Predicted: (W) 35-21
6-4
This win would make the Wolverines bowl eligible. Their game against the Boilermakers last year was a very close loss, so this year should be a completely different result.
11/14 @Wisconsin
Predicted: (L) 13-24
6-5
This game is at Camp Randall, and it will most likely be at night, and Camp Randall at night is one of the toughest environments to play in.
11/21 Ohio St.
Predicted: (L) 24-30
6-6
Michigan is still not ready to handle Terrelle Pryor and the Buckeye offense.
Final Record: 6-6
A .500 record for Michigan would win them a bowl spot, simply because of their track record. This will hopefully start another long bowl game streak.
