Liverpool Transfer News and Rumours Tracker: Week of January 19
There's only two weeks left of the January transfer window and rumours surrounding any comings or goings around Liverpool are pretty thin on the ground.
Last week saw the Reds recall young winger Jordon Ibe from his successful loan spell at Derby County. Rams fan Joel Clyne had a positive assessment of the 19-year-old's time at Pride Park to give Jack Lusby on This Is Anfield:
"His first touch is immaculate and takes two defenders out of the game before shifting the ball onto his right foot and firing low into the bottom right-hand corner.
"
Liverpool also confirmed the departure of 21-year-old Spanish attacking midfielder Suso, who joined AC Milan, as per LiverpoolFC.com, after four-and-a-half years at the club, but with only one goal in 21 appearances to his name.
Keep an eye on this page throughout the week as we add the latest Liverpool transfer speculation.
Philippe Coutinho

Liverpool could be set to secure the future of Philippe Coutinho with the Daily Mail's Simon Jones reporting the Brazilian is close to signing a new deal at Anfield.
Coutinho's current deal with the Reds expires in 2018, but Jones explains that talks are ongoing for a new four-and-a-half year deal for the 22-year-old.
Brendan Rodgers this week explained Coutinho found the beginning of the season difficult, but is beginning to find his feet again as the team's form improves, as per the Daily Mail:
"He was outstanding the other night. It was a difficult start to the season for him because if you think of Phil Coutinho, he has that bit of magic to make the key pass in the final third and combines with people ahead of him so well.
Last year he had a [Luis] Suarez and a [Daniel] Sturridge to make those passes to and he could work well with their style.
At the beginning of this season, he didn't have that. Probably until six or seven weeks ago, his ability to make that threaded pass through wasn't on because he didn't have that [energy and movement upfront].
We had to look at how to bring out the best in all our players, and once he's had mobility, energy and speed around him, it's lifted his game.
He's a class act, and he's still got so much growth and development to undertake here.

Divock Origi

Rumours that Liverpool would bring Belgian international striker Divock Origi's arrival on Merseyside forward from the summer to January were something of nothing.
Origi was signed from Lille for £10 million last summer, but immediately loaned back to the French outfit. After struggling to score goals in the early stages of 2014-15, rumours were rife, as per the Liverpool Echo, that Liverpool pay Lille an additional fee to end the loan spell.
But speaking to radio station talkSPORT on Monday morning, Brendan Rodgers confirmed Origi will remain at Lille until the end of the season.
Teddy Bishop

Liverpool are in pole position to sign Ipswich Town starlet Teddy Bishop if Adrian Kajumba of the Daily Mirror is to be believed.
The 18-year-old has recently broken into Mick McCarthy's promotion-chasing Championship side and also attracted the attention of Arsenal, Manchester United and Tottenham, as per Ben Jefferson of the Daily Express.
