Bayern Munich Transfer News and Rumours Tracker: Week of January 19
Bayern Munich may still be on their winter break, but rest assured, Germany's largest club are hard at work preparing for the return of the Bundesliga as well as working their way through the January transfer window.
We've already seen manager Pep Guardiola part ways with both Xherdan Shaqiri and Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg on loan moves as he looks to trim his squad, yet that in itself could mean either more players out the door or indeed new additions to a squad desperate for another title-winning season.
Be sure to check back in with us throughout the week as we update this article with rumours and transfer stories as they come in.

Thomas Muller

Manchester United, Arsenal and Liverpool are all interested in Bayern forward Thomas Muller, with the former already having a £45 million bid rejected by the Munich club, according to reports in England.
The Daily Star ran with a story on January 15 stating that Reds manager Louis van Gaal was desperate for his signature, according to reports from Germany.
In the article, Chisanga Malata writes: "Bayern boss Pep Guardiola is expected to reject any more approaches United make for the German international, who has three-and-a-half years left on his current contract with the Bundesliga champions."
Although the German World Cup winner has played a bit-part role for Guardiola's team this season, the forward is still a cherished member of the side and should remain in place for at least the rest of the season.
With little need for cash and no desire to lose their key players, any move for Muller looks unlikely.
