Justin Britt Injury: Updates on Seahawks OT's Knee and Return

Justin Britt is dealing with an injured knee and will miss the NFC Championship Game against Green Bay. He was back on the practice field on Jan. 21 and is active for the Super Bowl.

Britt Active for Super Bowl

Sunday, Feb. 1

The Patriots confirmed that Britt is active for Sunday's game:

On Friday, Jan. 29, Gregg Bell of the News Tribune in Tacoma indicated that Britt was probable for the Super Bowl.

Britt returned to the practice field on Jan. 21 for the Seahawks, as indicated by Bob Condotta of The Seattle Times:


Britt Battles Knee Injury

Friday, Jan. 16

Rookie right tackle Justin Britt has started every game for the Seattle Seahawks this season, but he missed the NFC Championship game against the Green Bay Packers.

According to Curtis Crabtree of Sports Radio KJR, previously indicated he would be a game-time decision:

Britt has been a steady presence on the right side for Seattle this season, and the Seahawks need him healthy to be 100 percent.
