BJ Penn Accuses GSP Of Using Steroids?
Written By: mark "The Hard Hitter" Ritter
Ever been beaten at your own game? Ever felt cheated? Ever regret the way you acted afterwards?
UFC light weight Champion BJ Penn recently came out and suggested that Canada’s own George St. Pierre is a cheater. For Penn, this is nothing new, but this time Penn is not talking about a little Vaseline. He is talking about GSP using steroids.
This accusation comes just weeks after GSP beat BJ Penn like a bad habit. In an article published at Yahoo Sports, here are the comments BJ Penn made:
“In my opinion, he doesn’t play by the rules when it comes to steroids and growth hormones and that stuff. Look at him. He’s the worst. He looks like that every day. That’s cheating. There is a reason why there are rules against using steroids. The rest of us, we get fat, then we train and get skinny and the cycle goes over and over again. He looks the same way all the time. Come on.”
It all sounds like bad-loser syndrome to me.
Maybe GSP looks like that because he trains like a maniac and lays off the puoy?
GSP, arguably the best pound for pound fighter in the UFC, is known for his strong stance against drugs of any kind. He was videotaped hanging out in the clubs drinking juice and water, no alcohol. GSP treats his body like a temple, hardly the type of guy that would use steroids.
For his part GSP said on Sportsnet Connected, “I don’t take drugs, I am anti-drug."
Considering the source of the accusation and the source of the denial, GSP’s words are good enough for me.
Void from BJ’s accusation is any spec of proof. Clearly, this is a jealous fighter, who was so badly dominated by GSP that he is looking for any excuse for his shortcomings.
Well BJ, it’s simple really. You got beat by the better fighter, and based on your poor sportsmanship, the better man.
Hey BJ, eat another donut, stuff your mouth to the brim, ‘cause when you ain’t eating, you say stupid things and it diminishes you as a competitor and as a man. SHUT UP BJ!
