Rory McIlroy Hits the 1st Hole-in-One of His Professional Career

After all Rory McIlroy has done in his still-young career, it is surprising to learn that he has never had a hole-in-one as a tournament professional.

Until now, that is.

McIlroy changed all that on Friday when he aced the 177-yard 15th hole at the Abu Dhabi HSBC Golf Championship, using just a 9-iron.

McIlory did not receive any additional prize for his hole-in-one, unlike Tom Lewis, who won a Cadillac when he aced the seventh on Thursday.
