Raheem Sterling Would Love to Meet Person Who Said He's Fathered 8 Children

One of the great internet hoaxes of recent years was the claim that Liverpool's Raheem Sterling (who only turned 20 last month) had fathered child after child. 

In fact, when you start typing his name in Google, this is what comes up:

The rumour spiralled to such an extent that as many as eight kids were being attributed to Sterling (he has one), but the Liverpool man has said he would like to meet the individual who started the original rumour.

Not because he is mad, but because it is so funny and random. 

During an entertaining interview with Sport magazine, Sterling was asked to share the funniest rumour he'd ever heard about himself.

The kids thing, definitely [newspaper reports last year indicated that Sterling had eight children]. I don’t know where that stuff came from, but I’d love to meet the person who came up with it. It’s so random.

"

Sterling also revealed his Playstation is his most prized possession, his favourite film is Inside Man and the Liverpool player he would least like to be stuck in a lift with would be Jordon Ibe because "he’d probably start crying."
