Tottenham Hotspur overcame a two-goal deficit on the way to a 4-2 victory over visiting Burnley on Wednesday in an FA Cup third-round replay at White Hart Lane.
Marvin Sordell and Ross Wallace fired Burnley into a shock two-goal lead in under eight minutes, but Tottenham pulled level by half-time via Paulinho and Etienne Capoue. Shortly after the break, Spurs scored twice more through Vlad Chiriches and Danny Rose to take control of the match.
With the win, Tottenham advanced to host Leicester City in the fourth round on Jan. 24. Meanwhile, Mauricio Pochettino's side will continue juggling commitments to multiple competitions in a busy month of January.

Burnley host Crystal Palace on Saturday in a matchup of Premier League clubs perched precariously above the relegation places. Both teams currently sit on 20 points, just one above the drop zone.

The last time Tottenham and Burnley met, the match finished 1-1 at Turf Moor on Jan. 5, prompting Wednesday's replay. Within 10 minutes of the rematch, three goals had already flown in.
Burnley grabbed the opener in just the third minute, Sordell smashing in from the edge of the area after latching on to Kieran Trippier's long ball over the top.

It was a brilliant start for the visitors, who doubled their lead just five minutes later as Wallace hit a deflected free-kick on target. Tottenham goalkeeper Michel Vorm was wrong-footed, and the ball nestled into the back of the net to make it 2-0.
Spurs were stunned, but the fightback began soon after. Paulinho pulled a goal back in the 10th minute, finishing from close range after Roberto Soldado had flicked on an Andros Townsend cross.
Midway through the half, Tottenham's Younes Kaboul and Jan Vertonghen became involved in a dispute. Kaboul has been linked with a transfer to Besiktas, and as multiple commentators noted on Twitter, the home fans seemed to support Vertonghen in the row.
Tottenham nearly drew level two minutes before half-time. Townsend served as the catalyst again, this time setting up Soldado, whose shot hit the crossbar.
Spurs' equaliser arrived soon after. In the second minute of stoppage time, Capoue made it 2-2 with a powerful shot from the edge of the box after Burnley were unable to clear a Ben Davies cross.

The turnaround was complete three minutes into the second half. In the 49th minute, Paulinho swung in a corner from the left, finding Chiriches at the far post, and he finished from close range to make it 3-2.
It was 4-2 just three minutes later. In the 52nd minute, Benjamin Stambouli passed to Soldado on the right. Nearing the byline, Soldado pulled back for Rose, who tapped in from close range.
Soldado nearly bagged Tottenham's fifth goal in the 67th minute, shooting just wide of the post from outside the box.
The Spaniard came close again in the 85th minute, but this time his shot from the centre of the box was saved by Burnley goalkeeper Tom Heaton.
