Michael Crabtree Needs to End Holdout with San Francisco 49ers
Michael Crabtree is really frustrating me.
If he thinks he should get Darrius Heyward-Bey money, he is wrong. Actually, he should get less than the No. 9 pick. Don't say that WR is more premium than NT. How many WRs have $100 million contracts with $41 million guaranteed?
For as much as I love Crabtree as a prospect, he really needs to get into camp. Crabtree is really hurting all the future rookies. His childish acts are what make owners want a rookie pay scale.

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
You are the No. 10 pick, and you are not a QB. You don't get more than BJ Raji, let alone DHB.
The main reason Crabtree went No. 10 was because of injury concerns. Well, that sounds like a good reason why you won't get as much guaranteed money as the No. 7 pick, DHB.
I know Crabtree may think his stress fracture and holdout are no big deal, but they are. He needs to be in camp right now. Every day he sits out is another day he will have to catch up. He is so far behind in the playbook that he will have to study hard to catch up.
For Crabtree, he needs to sign as soon as possible. If he wants a reference of what happens when you hold out, look at what happened to JaMarcus Russell in his rookie season. He had a very tough time getting up to par with the rest of his team.
Crabtree needs to get his act right, so everyone can pretend like this never happened. As a 49er fan, I wish him the best in San Francisco.
