Sanogo's switch is Alan Pardew's first piece of business since returning to the Selhurst Park dugout. He has opted to bring in a 21-year-old who has registered one goal in 309 minutes of play across five appearances in the Premier League and Champions League this season, per WhoScored.com.
Palace are currently 15th in the division and certainly need greater goalscoring threat. Captain Mile Jedinak is currently the side's top scorer, despite being a defensive midfielder and currently absent due to Australia's participation in the 2015 Asian Cup.

Sanogo will bring a lick of pace and decent hold-up play to the side. He has worked hard for Arsenal since breaking into Arsene Wenger's plans and now has the opportunity to improve at the top level.
Such a move should benefit the Gunners, Palace and Sanogo in the future.
