Toffoli Cleared For Contact at Practice

Monday, Jan. 26

Rich Hammond of the Orange Country Register provided an encouraging update on Tyler Toffoli:

Toffoli Dealing With Illness

Saturday, Jan. 10

The Los Angeles Kings have been dealt another blow in this disappointing season. Tyler Toffoli, who coming into Saturday's game is tied for the team lead in goals scored with 12, is dealing with an illness.

According to the Kings' PR staff on Twitter, Toffoli will sit out Saturday's game against Winnipeg with a case of mono:

The defending Stanley Cup champion Kings haven't been able to catch fire yet this season, ranking fourth in the Pacific Division with a 19-13-9 record entering play on Saturday. Offense is still hard to come by for this team, and it will be even more difficult without Toffoli's team-high 12 goals.
