
2014-15 Divisional-Round Fantasy Football Tight End Rankings
Here are the Lester’s Legends tight end rankings for the divisional round of the NFL playoffs.
1. Rob Gronkowski, New England Patriots
Rob Gronkowski averaged 74.9 yards and 0.8 touchdowns per game. Gronk should be a difference-maker against the Baltimore Ravens. The Ravens allowed 248.7 passing yards per game in the regular season.
2. Julius Thomas, Denver Broncos
Julius Thomas averaged 37.6 yards and 0.9 touchdowns despite an ankle injury that derailed a monster season. Thomas has not scored a touchdown since Nov. 9. He had 104 yards and three touchdowns in the first meeting with the Indianapolis Colts.
3. Greg Olsen, Carolina Panthers
Greg Olsen averaged 63 yards and 0.4 touchdowns per game during the regular season. He had 37 yards in the playoff win over the Arizona Cardinals. Olsen has a tough matchup against the Seattle Seahawks.
4. Coby Fleener, Indianapolis Colts
Coby Fleener averaged 48.4 yards and 0.5 touchdowns per game but finished the year averaging 61.4 yards and 0.8 touchdowns in the final five games of the regular season. He was quiet in the playoff win over the Cincinnati Bengals but should return to form against the Denver Broncos.
5. Jason Witten, Dallas Cowboys
Jason Witten averaged 43.9 yards and 0.3 touchdowns per game but averaged 69.3 yards in the final three games of the year. He stayed hot with 63 yards in the playoff win against the Detroit Lions. Witten faces the Green Bay Packers. The Pack allowed 1.6 passing touchdowns per game.
6. Owen Daniels, Baltimore Ravens
Owen Daniels averaged 35.1 yards and 0.3 touchdowns per game during the regular season. He had 70 yards in the win over the Pittsburgh Steelers. Daniels faces the New England Patriots. The Pats allowed 1.5 passing touchdowns per game.
7. Dwayne Allen, Indianapolis Colts
Dwayne Allen averaged 30.4 yards and 0.6 touchdowns per game. He had 30 yards in the playoff win over the Cincinnati Bengals. You’re pretty much hoping for a touchdown if you use Allen. He scored in the first meeting with the Broncos.
8. Luke Willson, Seattle Seahawks
Luke Willson averaged 24.1 yards and 0.2 touchdowns per game. He has a tough draw against the Carolina Panthers.
9. Andrew Quarless, Green Bay Packers
Andrew Quarless averaged 20.2 yards and 0.2 touchdowns per game. He faces the Dallas Cowboys.
