Cincinnati Bengals linebacker Rey Maualuga left Sunday's Wild Card Game against the Indianapolis Colts and is out after suffering a hamstring injury in the second quarter, the team announced:
Maualuga was originally listed as doubtful after leaving the field.

He was injured on a five-yard pass from Andrew Luck to Daniel Herron in the second quarter, coming up lame as he attempted to make a play. The former USC star was in obvious pain on the field and needed a cart to take him to the locker room.
As noted by Kevin Goheen of Fox Sports Ohio, a hamstring injury already cost Maualuga four games during the regular season:
Maualuga had two tackles and a pass defensed before leaving. He was the Bengals' only healthy middle linebacker listed on their depth chart coming into this week.
With A.J. Green and Jermaine Gresham out on the offensive side, Maualuga's injury leaves the Bengals without three of their biggest playmakers.
